I'm Feeling Better

Written by Dan Schneider

A personal song about Dan's wonderful weightloss journey.

LYRICS

00:00 / 01:04

CHORUS

I’m feeling better, it’s gone right to my head,

I lost me some kilos, when I cut back on bread,

You don’t have to tell me, I'll leave you alone,

But if you’re feeling great, celebrate make it known

At Christmas last year I was a heavy man
When I’d look at my photo id feel bad once again,
So to make myself happy, changed my diet and then,
I lost me a kilo and I was aiming for ten,

CHORUS

After changing my diet, someone said I should run,
I didn’t want to do it, exercise is no fun
I don’t want no shin splints cause my legs are my friends,
But I’m down two more kilos and I’m aiming for ten,

CHORUS

Well I started to train without running, weights or toys,
Instead twice a week I go and wrestle with boys,
A few times I’ve been hurt but I get back up again,
And I was down by eight kilos still aiming for ten,

CHORUS

Well it’s been a journey now I’m down more than eight,
When I get up in the morning I always feel great,
Well I’ll see how I’m doing after this year does end,
Cause I’m down 17 kilos, when I was aiming for ten

CHORUS x 2
